Shabnam Akram: Graphic Designer & event manager, has been riding since 1991. Designing has been her passion and communicating the right image an obsession.
Today she has turned her design talent to designing and painting bikes to reflect their owners personalities. For the coming year, her project is to paint one bike every week, and then hold a show of 51 bikes in the last week.(www.Paint51Bikes.com)(see RM2012.jpg)
Mother of two teenagers, she has always seen riding as an extension of who she is. Introduced to riding by her husband, Dr. Rohit Jaswal, she has now been riding for over 20 years, finding freedom in riding not seen in any other activity.
She is also a part of Bikernis, the Female Rider Association of India. More Bikernis from all across India will be joining us!
She will be riding with us from Delhi to Neemrana and a little beyond (150 kms) as we start our trip from Delhi and towards Jaipur.
